Alter Ego Graphic Productions is proud to hold international FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certification, which guarantees our contribution to managing the forest’s resources in a way that is respectful to the physical, economical, and social environment.

FSC is an international non-profit organization founded in Toronto in 1993 by representatives from environmental groups, community organizations, the timber industry, and the forestry profession from 25 countries.

FSC’s mission is to promote environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically viable management of the world's forests by establishing a series of forest management principles recognized and applied worldwide.

Therefore, products bearing the FSC logo ensure they came from certified forests that were appropriately managed to meet the social, economic, ecological, cultural and spiritual needs of present and future generations. Regular inspections conducted by independent FSC-accredited certifiers ensure compliance to standards and precise traceability of a finished product from its forest of origin.

In addition, FSC carries out educational activities that aim to increase public awareness of the following important points:
• improving forest management;
• incorporating all management and production costs into the price of wood products;
• promoting a better and more efficient use of forest resources;
• reducing waste and damage;
• renouncing over consumption and overproduction.
